COLORS: A MATTER OF SKIN

I've been "fighting" with colors for a while now.

Colors have a very important meaning in everyone's life.

All of my life is represented by colors.

My songs have colors.

The smells are colorful.

I have always dived into colors, with my gut.

Instinct leads me to their choice.

I wasn't at peace with myself

I wanted to lighten my hairs...maybe to go back to a particular period in my life.

It sounds like bullshit I know, "What a problem! You have nothing to do but think about the color of your hair, clothes of your nails."

But the issue, as far as I am concerned, is much deeper.

With my identuty.

I was lost (as I often am!).

My past was trying to root me in my center, playing at displacing me from it.

HARMOCROMY

I lightened my hair, but I felt uncomfortable, I felt bad.

Then I decided that I would be helped (by a good one you will say!), by an image consultant Elisabetta Contorni (student of the great Rossella Migliaccio and I recommend her book "ARMOCROMIA") She just gave me a consultation of Harmocromy.

She is fantastic!

She listened and explained to me how it worked.

I was looking for confirmation of who I was.

I already had an idea, but I was still upset.

The colors of the palette tend to enhance you. Others turn you off or highlight flaws and fatigue on the face.

What if she saw colors different from the ones I saw? What if until that moment the colors had made fun of me?

Yes, the world could see me differently from the image I have jealously "packaged" over the years.

So, let's go!

In short, she told me that the division takes place primarily, based on the undertone of the skin.

Then colors are just a matter of skin

If you have warm skin undertones then you are a Spring or Fall.

If cold you are either Summer or Winter.

After we examined the contrast of the skin. 

I have a cold undertone with very high contrast. So I am Winter.

Then the palette is examined. All the colors of the palette were perfect on my complexion and as proof we used colors of other palettes on my skin (Spring and Autumn were very ugly on me!!)

I don’t have a specific dominant color therefore I am Absolute Winter or Pure Winter.

Did you really expect anything else?

I just needed a self-validation. And here I am!
