Rockin'1000: when a thousand become one

A thousand musicians, one soul.

This is Rockin'1000, a different perspective of music born from a dream of Fabio Zaffagnini of bringing the Foo Fighters to Italy.

From the very first moment, I realized that this was not an event like any other.

There is an atmosphere of collaboration and friendship, where competition fades away to make room for pure passion for music.

Every “I” or ‘you’ disappears, replaced by a powerful “we” that unites the musicians in a single, immense embrace of sound

The energy that is released is something indescribable: playing with so many people is a wave of pure adrenaline that overwhelms you and makes you feel part of something unique in the world.

It's not a virtual community like those found on Facebook or Instagram

Here, people meet, get to know each other, and look each other in the eye. In the flesh, there are real stories and friendships that are born outside the screen.

For me, as a singer, it was also an incredibly formative experience.

I want to sincerely thank our incredible vocal gurus, Augusta and Silvia.

Their professionalism, attention to detail, and the care with which they followed each individual singer made the preparation process not only fun, but also a valuable opportunity to grow and improve.

Thanks to them, I learned a lot and experienced this adventure to the fullest of my abilities.

Behind the magic of the stage, there was hard preparation. I understood what it means to rehearse professionally, to spend whole days on the songs. It was tiring, exhausting, but in the evening, even though I was shattered, I was filled with a satisfaction I had never felt before.

And the adrenaline rise even more when, on the evening of the concert, the incessant rain in Cesena threatened to cancel everything.

But nature spared us, and at 9:30 p.m. the rain stopped, leaving time to go on stage and start the concert at 10:30 p.m.

But there was more. Finally, my voice came out freely, without a trace of performance anxiety.

It wasn't the number of people that gave me courage, but the fact that I could look the audience in the face and enjoy every single moment.

I sucked up every last drop of this experience, learning to truly enjoy it.

I let myself be carried away by the music.

And then, the end.

When the last note faded away, I couldn't hold back the tears. Not out of sadness, but a wave of emotions so intense that I had never felt

Those tears were proof that music was beating in my chest again, reawakening a love I thought I had lost.

After a period of crisis, Rockin'1000 reminded me why I started singing and gave me the desire to do it again, stronger than before. music.
