Why do we sometimes say that life is meaningless?
We need to contextualize this question in the present age.
Progress and technology have eased life and streamlined the world.
They created welfare.
But they erased the disenchantment.
They took God from us.
We no longer need him.
But after all, The Meaning of Life is much easier than what we think or experience.
We do not die only once.
Every morning we are born in order to die every night, to be reborn the next day to be a different person.
To change, to feel different, better, to our own eyes.
We evolve. And not for any purpose or reward after death.
No hell or heaven.
Not to try to give any meaning to this life.
There is not.
The meaning of life lies in life itself.
The Animals have understood this as they daily try to conquer their here and now.
And we instead, wonder what subtended meaning we want to give, maybe to comfort ourselves.
To avoid us perceiving the nothingness of it all. A hidden and additional meaning, when it is all here.
Clear and in front of our blind eyes.
We should listen to Nature, which has an incredibly simple language, but we are not ready.
Not all of us, at least.
There is no eternity. It is just a concept. However quite useless and frustrating.
No hell or heaven.
We already experience that one here .... It would be too much to remain sentient for eternity.
A choking conviction.
